Tongue thrusting is a condition in which the tongue observed between, and tooth do not close centric during deglutition. thrust an oral habit pattern related to persistence of infantile swallow childhood adolescence thereby produces protrusion anterior segment open bite. Such habits are considered be normal children upto age 4-5 year. However if these persist beyond eruption permanent teeth it could lead various deleterious effect on teeth. Thus identifying treating at early prevent development malocclusion future.
